ERIN, ONTARIO – On Sunday August 16th, 2009 at about 11:57am County of Wellington OPP officers received a call of a domestic disturbance at a home in Erin Twp. Investigators responded and spoke to the caller who reported hearing a female calling for help. When the 41 year old man went next door to check, he punched by the male resident of the home.  Officers responded to this home and found that the 29 year old female resident had been in an altercation with her 24 year old boyfriend. This altercation turned aggressive and she was knocked to the ground. Neither persons required medical treatment.

County of Wellington OPP have charged a 24 year old Erin Twp man with Assault (2 counts) under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused appeared in Guelph court on August 17th, 2009 for a Bail Hearing.
